Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Here is a brief overview of our National Honors Society, its responsibilities, and our current Payne Tech officers.

THE FOUR PILLARS

SCHOLARSHIP.

Per national guidelines, at a minimum, students must have a cumulative GPA 3.8 on a 5.0 scale, or equivalent standard of excellence.

SERVICE.

This involves voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation.

LEADERSHIP.

Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, and idea contributors. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities while working with or for others.

CHARACTER.

The student of good character is cooperative; demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others; and generally maintains a clean disciplinary record.

OUR PLEDGE

"I pledge to uphold the high purpose of the National Honor Society to which I have been selected; I will be true to the principles for which it stands; I will be loyal to my school, and will maintain and encourage high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character."
